Isaacnezer Njuguna

Isaac is an international development professional, with experience in business development, project management, and project technical delivery. His expertise cuts across the environment and urban development sectors and includes urban planning, waste management, ESIA/EA, environmental policy, applied research, and Geographical Information Systems.

He currently leads KCL’s business development, taking lead in business capture strategies, proposal development, resource mobilization, and supporting partnerships development. Over the years, he has led and supported successful bids for international development donors and partners such as World Bank, USAID, GIZ, AfDB, UNDP, UNICEF, EU, UN-HABITAT, GCA, and ICRC, across multiple countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, such as Ethiopia, Kenya, Ghana, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zanzibar.

With respect to project management and delivery, he has participated in various high-level projects across East, South, and West Africa regions, working with international partners (World Bank, UNDP, USAID, GIZ, IDRC, FCDO), civil society organizations, governments, and research think tanks and academia.
