Kelvin is a Private Sector Development professional with an MBA in Strategic Management from Daystar University. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Finance option) from Strathmore University and a Monitoring and Evaluation Certificate from Amref International University in Nairobi. He has completed courses in Certification Preparation for Project Management Professional (PMP), Applied Scrum for Project Management from The University of Maryland, the Universal language of Project Management from Udemy, Agile foundations from Linkedin, Unlocking Investment and Finance in Emerging Markets and Developing Economies (EMDEs) from the World Bank and Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies from HarvardX.
He has eight years’ progressive experience in project management, strategy, resource mobilization, and monitoring & evaluation. Kelvin has worked with NGOs, Corporates, and MSMEs in the agriculture, renewable energy, water management, and waste management sectors to identify their existing gaps and develop capacity building programs tailored to close those gaps and catalyze growth; with these MSMEs being drawn from different groups of interest such as women and youth groups to increase their participation within their respective value chains.
