Kennedy Ouma

Kennedy is a corporate communication and public relations expert experienced in media relations, agri-journalism, and business development for communication. He has over 7 years of active work experience within the development communication and business development space.

Currently, Kennedy works at KCIC consulting as the Head of Development Communication supporting regional and international clients implementing programs in Africa.

Previously, he worked as a Project Officer at Standard Media Group’s FarmKenya Initiative where he coordinated the impact visibility of agri-based organizations in Kenya through multimedia platforms.

Prior to that, he worked as a Team Lead of CoELIB Media at Egerton University with a mandate of documenting success stories from donor-funded research-based programs from the Division of Research and Extension.

Kennedy has a strong passion for developing creative programs and events planning and management. He holds a post-graduate diploma in Multimedia, a bachelor in Agribusiness Management and is currently pursuing a master in Agricultural Information and Communication Management (AICM).
