Mwalya Wambua

Wambua is a Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) alumnus who holds a Bachelor of Economics and Statistics from Kenyatta University and is currently pursuing a Master of Economics (Econometrics) from the same university.

He is a CPA (Section 5), certified SPSS, and Stata specialist from the Institute of Advanced Technology.

Previously, he has been engaged in various projects notably the mapping of Climate Finance in Kenya both in the public and private sector under the GNIplus Programme, a collaboration between the National Treasury and Climate Policy Initiative (CPI).

Further, he was the Lead Analyst for the survey on the state of the environmental performance of the Kenyan firms conducted by the KCIC in conjunction with the Kenya Association of Manufacturers.

Wambua prides himself with excellent research and data analytics skills, which are key in decision-making for any business of the 21st Century. He is time conscious, innovative, and an apt learner, always willing to learn new skills.
